What is it that always makes us return to the most beautiful version of popular cuisine and seek out taverns? Their delicious food, the authentic atmosphere and the lack of any unnecessary formality? Their long-standing operation, which makes them a hangout spot and the birthplace of many stories told by their regulars? The simple, but full-bodied ‘house’ wine that perfectly accompanies the dishes around which the merry conversations and banter of the company unfold?
It’s all of these things together – and it’s all the things that we here at Kinsterna Hotel have made sure that the “linos” experience includes. In the outdoor area we have set up a unique setting, with the homonymous wine press (lino) that “christened” our tavern, the old stone olive oil press and the stone wood-fired oven.. Quince trees, pomegranates and vines are the ideal setting for a “folk-inspired”, genuine meal consisting of fresh salads, country bread, vegetables from our orchards and local meats simmered in the wood-fired oven.
Linos tavern is open during the summer season (24th April to end of October). Live music every Friday and Sunday.
