For the most part, children these days have limited contact with nature. At Kinsterna, however, things are completely different. The estate’s magical environment awakens our deepest relationship with the earth, captivates the senses and stimulates the imagination. It encourages adolescents and children of all ages to participate in various outdoor activities, such as hiking or biking, and there is even a children’s pool within the estate.
The variety of available activities means that every child finds something interesting to do: making soap, planting trees, harvesting grapes or olives, gathering herbs, riding horses or donkeys, touring the estate in our horse-drawn carriage, or interacting with the sheep and goats which roam freely about the grounds. And in the manor’s library – a wonderful place to meet people and chat – there are board games and plenty of books.
The outdoor playground, which was created on the site of the old “Pasha’s Harem”, gives children the chance to enjoy hours of carefree play, to explore an amazing treehouse and to weave fantastic stories in this magical spot. During the winter months or rainy weather, there is a covered playground as well, right next to the children’s pool, which is designed to accommodate both small and older children.
For couples with very young children and babies, Kinsterna provides babysitting services (by arrangement) so that young parents can enjoy some romantic time alone or visit the area’s many attractions.
