We invite you to a unique wellness weekend retreat that you shouldn’t miss in a dreamlike, magical and secret place at the southernmost tip of Europe cradled by idyllic vineyards, olive and fruit orchards; only a few minutes from the bright blue Aegean Sea. Kinsterna Hotel, an impressive mansion and sprawling estate dating to the Byzantine, Ottoman and Venetian eras, has been meticulously restored and returned to its former glory with an air of discreet luxury.

This  three-day retreat will offer you a different kind of vacation during which you will explore the mansion, observe nature, try local activities of the Greek heritage in a unique natural setting, exercise your body and refresh your mind and spirit with some outdoor yoga - meditation sessions and mindful walks in the nature.

The yoga/meditation classes consist of meditation, asanas, pranayama and deep relaxation. Get ready to wake up your body and mind, tone your muscles and build a strong core with the morning yoga classes and, in the evening, unwind from your day with a yoga and meditation class designed to acclimate your body and soul to the setting sun.

The classes encourage a slow inward attitude and pace that are suitable for every age and level of experience.

Meet our Yoga Teacher

Alexia was introduced to yoga in 1998, practicing Satyananda yoga for a year. From then on, yoga became part of her daily life. Yoga brought many positive changes in her life, body and mind after which she decided to share her knowledge with those around her creating her own yoga center in Athens.

To deepen her yoga practice and her internal search, Alexia travelled to India in 2005, met many teachers and studied yoga at Shivananda Centre in Kerala. She considers the most exciting ‘school’ is life itself and believes it’s important to always be a student of life. Alexia continues, with great enthusiasm, her study around yoga and self-awareness – taking part in workshops, lectures and classes all over the world and in Greece.

Her classes are focused on respecting the freedom and personal experience of each student, and to teach them to take care of their body, since ‘it’s the only place we have to live in’, helping them to discover their own path to personal truth and self-awareness while focusing on their safety.
